Salardú (Val d’Aran), September 7th, 2025 – The Pyrenees Stage Run (PSR) came to an end yesterday after seven stages and over 200km across the Pyrenees. The participating teams crossed the finish line in Salardú in a great celebration filled with excitement, camaraderie, and the satisfaction of completing an incredible adventure. This edition, marked by international diversity with runners from 22 nationalities and a strong female presence (35% of participants), has once again proved that the race is much more than a competition: it is a shared experience of mountains and friendship.

The fifth stage, between Arinsal and Ribera de Cardós, was the longest, covering 40km and featuring a challenging elevation gain that took participants through the Alt Pirineu Natural Park. The race then continued to Esterri d'Àneu, with a stage that consolidated the rankings and allowed participants to enjoy nature in its purest form, passing through beautiful landscapes. The weather was excellent for mountain running every day, with cool temperatures at altitude and clear skies that allowed for spectacular panoramic views of the Pyrenean peaks.

Finally, the final day between Esterri d'Àneu and Salardú served as the final stage of a unique week crossing the Pyrenees. The teams overcame one of the most technical stages among the boulders of the “Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici” National Park, before crossing the finish line in Salardú, which was a true collective celebration, filled with the joy of completing a unique adventure.

Looking ahead: the 10th edition

The next edition will be very special, as the Pyrenees Stage Run will celebrate its 10th edition. The organization is already working to prepare a special edition, with surprises and a look back at 2016, that highlights the trajectory and spirit of this unique adventure in the Pyrenees.

The Pyrenees Stage Run is organised by BiFree Sports, a company with extensive experience in organising stage races. In addition to the Brama, they also manage the Costa Brava Stage Run and the Brama Stage Run, events that stand out for offering a unique experience of adventure and challenge in spectacular natural environments. As always, the support of the technical sports clothing brand Tuga Active Wear has been fundamental, as has the institutional backing of the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Pirineu de Girona, contributing to the success and projection of the event.
